Setting Admin Permissions

Admin Permissions Settings

The video explains the different types of admin permissions within Tempo and how to manage them. Here’s a summary of what each permission allows:

Manage Admin Permissions: This is the highest level of admin right, allowing users to manage the entire admin permissions screen and change what other people have access to. It’s intended for senior leadership or managers.
Managing Pay Rates: Allows users to manage hourly rates and annual salaries of individuals and see this information for the teams they manage.
Viewing Invoices: Allows users to see invoices for transactional work such as locum work, and other invoices issued to the organisation or individuals. There are two columns here relating to invoices, which relate to different types of invoices.
Manage Employee Screen: Enables users to view and manage the attributes of other users within the workforce screen, but does not give access to managing work plans.
View and Manage Work Plans: This permission allows users to manage the work plans of other users within the workforce screen.
Login as Employees: This allows an admin to log in on behalf of a user to troubleshoot login issues, and should be used sparingly.
View Reports: Allows users to see data analytics reports, specifically appointment and spending reports, which can be found in the invoice and payment screen.
View Hub Log: Allows users to see an audit of changes made within the system, such as to work plans, via the view hub log setting in the rostering menu.
See Manager Attribute: Allows users to see managers in the workforce management screen, which may be restricted to senior team members.
Manage Hub Attributes: Allows users to make amendments to the core settings of the organisation.
Rostering Shifts: Allows users to create and manage rosters and put people onto these rosters.
Manage HR: Allows users to see staff sickness reports and amend appraisal information, typically for HR managers.
Appraising Staff: Allows users to appraise other staff.
Managing Teams: Allows users to set up teams within Tempo, assign line managers, and group people together.
View Leave: Allows users to view leave requests in the time off screen.
Manage Leave: Allows users to approve leave requests.
Manage Sickness Details: Allows users to manage sickness logs, change the type of sickness, decide whether it counts against Bradford scores, and change reimbursement types.
View Data Insights: Allows users to see the data insights screen, though most of this functionality has been moved to the appointment and spending report.
